In November 1969, Raymond Vinotti received a liquor license to operate Mario's Inn, the successor business to Walek's Inn. The inn was located at 133-135 High Street and included the barroom, 2 dining rooms, a kitchen and a cellar storage area.
The following month, Mario's Inn placed an ad for its first New Year's Eve gala. The restaurant offered a variety of dishes for the holiday celebration. After the holiday, ads were placed featuring a selection of dinner menu items.
In August 1971, Mario's was under new management when Paul "Fleet" Guenther and his wife Joyce Guenther became the inn's proprietors. The change was evident, as most advertisements going forward provided information about live bands scheduled to perform. Mario's booked a variety of acts over the next five years, including Charles Linderme on organ, Dixieland, contemporary sounds, Irish sing-alongs and Larry Chesky's Polish music.
Very little information followed from 1977 to 1983, although Mario's continued to operate. In 1984, the business was sold, and the innkeeper's license was transferred to a new entity that renamed the establishment Jimmy's. The bar operated in a one-story building with a cellar storage area and lasted one year. In 1986, the business was sold to another entity, whose history is unknown.
